Settled as a guide and photographer in Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago at the polar circle, Virgil Reglioni took this photograph during an expedition to Spitzbergen Island. Discovered by chance after several hours of snowmobiling, this valley carved by the river between two walls of snow captured the photographer: “There is a power which comes out of these shapes, the correlation between these waves of snow, the diagonals, and the mountain which is itself in full light and attracts all of our attention” he explains. ...
