About the artwork

Laurent Dequick departs from the traditional representation of the landscapes around us, presenting a highly poetic vision that borrows from the impressionist movement. He has always been passionate about combining techniques and his work is the result of an inseparable encounter between photography and painting. A professional architect, the urban frenzy that he is fond of representing is expressed by condensing various perspectives. Undulating reflections of the city are combined with the rigorous lines of the glass façades.
