A graduate in Design from the École des Beaux-Arts de Nancy in 1986, Francis Meslet started out as a designer before becoming an artistic director in advertising. At the same time, he dedicated himself to photography and roamed the world looking for abandoned sites, producing captivating and melancholy images of such places. These photographs were recently exhibited in France during the Journées de la Photographie d’Exploration Urbaine in La Bresse, in the Vosges region, and in La Douëra de Malzéville, near Nancy.
