Under the large glass roof, the atmosphere has radically changed after the major floods. The ground, once dry and stable, is now submerged by the water that has infiltrated the space, creating an unexpected aquatic scene. The rippling reflections of light traverse the flooded surface, producing dancing light patterns on the walls. Water lilies, once inhabitants of a tranquil pond, cover the water’s surface, drifting slowly with the residual currents. Their leaves float like abandoned boats, creating a scene that is both melancholic and poetic.

Continuing his photographic approach, Francis experiments with artificial intelligence to evoke imaginary worlds in a near future profoundly affected by the advent of digitalization and the upheavals of climate change and geopolitics.
