Beelitz
The Beelitz-Heilstätten, first a sanatorium, became a military hospital for the imperial army and then for the Nazis. From the Defeat, the place was occupied by the Red Army and became a “prohibited zone”. It was finally left abandoned when the Berlin Wall fell.
