    Initially drawn to journalism, Laurent Baheux became passionate about wildlife photography in 2002. His artistic career in black and white was launched when he was nominated for the international Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2007. Through a stylised, aesthetic approach, he sets himself the exclusive mission of capturing the beauty of a threatened world and he feels deeply inspired by the work of Peter Beard.
