MORE INFORMATION ABOUT DELIVERY

The artist

Dhiky Aditya handled his first camera in 2010, at the age of 20. Self-taught, he rapidly won competitions all over Indonesia, his native country, before conquering the world (Indonesia Nikon Photo Competition 2012, Fujifilm X Batik Photocontest 2016, Canon Photo Marathon IX 2017, International Photography Awards 2017, Sony Photo Award 2019, etc.). The young Indonesian artist now specialises in conceptual photography. His style, eminently abstract, combines aestheticism and surrealism. Motivated by the desire to communicate through his photographs, Dhiky Aditya works meticulously on them and also spends a lot of time editing in Photoshop. He distils a sensation of serenity that is recurrent throughout his work. Ambitious, he says “my dream is to become the greatest photographer in the world.” He works tirelessly towards that dream, filled with the certainty that his efforts will allow him, each day, to become a better photographer.  ... About the artwork

Abstraction and surrealism are combined in the conceptual works of Indonesian photographer Dhiky Aditya. This young, self-taught artist launched his career in 2012 and quickly stood out from the pack. Laureate of many international awards (International Photography Awards 2017, Sony Photo Award 2019, etc.), he aspires to become the best. Irrespective of the genre he tries his hand at, his compositions evoke a gentle atmosphere. At first glance, the spectator is immersed in a phantasmagorical world.
