    <p>At the age of 24, the artist began a black-and-white photographic project on the Clichy-Montmartre Billiards Academy, located just a stone's throw from Place de Clichy. For five years, he captured its timeless spirit with his Leica. Shot on 135 film, the regulars, their rituals, and the setting seem straight out of a film noir.
