Nicolas Leconte
It is often said that the sea shapes those who grow up near its shores. For Nicolas Leconte, who is based in Brittany but grew up on the Normandy coast, this influence can be seen as much in his landscapes as in his approach to people. For him, the horizon is not a distant line but a constant breath, a metronomic measure of time.
The photographer has built a rich and varied photographic universe, ranging from landscapes to street photography, travel and portraits. His photographs, imbued with vibrant colors, convey a particular sensitivity, where nostalgia mingles with raw emotion. Driven by a unique mastery of color that gives each image narrative and visual depth, each photograph tells a story, where silhouettes find their place in poetic compositions that captivate with their singular aesthetics.
