It was beautiful that day

With a background in architecture, Laurent Dequick (LDK Photos) loves to photograph cities. Whether they are megalopolises (Dubai, Hong Kong) or regional capitals (Rouen, Marseille), he always brings a singular gaze to bear on them. Once again, for the series Paris: Above the Rooftops, he presents the rooftops of Paris. Before his lens, these rooftops – which have become a symbol of the City of Light photographed many times – nevertheless emerge in a new light.
