Schwetzingen Castle is a former princely palace. If its vast and artistically landscaped park has made it famous, the estate still houses one of the rare rococo theaters still in existence. Bernhard Hartmann has been photographing theaters and operas in various regions of Germany for several years. He delivers a unique point of view by photographing, from the stage, a room emptied of its spectators.
