Located in Vieux Lyon, the Saint-George de Lyon Church is an edifice in neo-gothic style dating from 1844. Classified as an historic monument, the building immediately caught the eye of New York photographer Richard Silver. As he was walking along the left bank of the Saone at dawn, he captured the facade of the century-old church. The warm colours of dawn thus came the fore, enhancing the colourful environment of this sacred place.
