Raphaël and Marie form a complementary artistic duo who are experts on urbex (urban exploration). They travel the world beyond the purview of traditional tourism and sanitised museums. Far from the world and from our era, in search of testimonies of forgotten lives, they get off the beaten track to remote, deserted lands. Raphaël tells the story:“We became used to isolating ourselves in the middle of nowhere, always with the same pleasure of being in deserted areas.” The goal? Isolating themselves for long enough to immortalise some hypnotic worlds.
