Vanessa Vercel looks upon the world and the individuals that surround her with delicacy. After several years studying at the Spéos photography school in Paris, she went to work as a photographer’s assistant before embarking on a solo career in 2005. Driven by a keen sense of detail, space, and aesthetics, she moved quite naturally towards the sphere that interested her the most – fashion – where she has made a name for herself with her portraits of women. When she is not immortalising the beauty of landscapes she comes across on her travels, she creates brightly coloured photo shoots for magazines. Constantly moving, Vanessa Vercel strives to capture the moment: looking at people and the world in a new way.
