About the artwork

Internationally recognised in the advertising industry for his photographic talents with packshots, the British artist Graham Tooby also undertakes atypical personal art projects. Comical and eccentric: these were the photographer’s watchwords for the creation of this series. Produced in two phases, the series combines urban photography for the setting and studio work for the gallinaceans. The results, both aesthetic and surprising, do not leave viewers indifferent.

The artist

Graham is a pure-bred Londoner. He was born in London, grew up there, and studied art and design at London Metropolitan University. After graduating, he started out working as an assistant for one of the key London figures of still-life photography. Today, the photographer is still based in his hometown, however his work has been exported worldwide owing to his advertising collaborations. Ford, Toshiba, Peugeot, Citroën, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Sony, HSBC, Hilton Hotel Group, Mont Blanc, Shangri La Hotel Group, Emirates, Milka, Nestlé, among others... his clientele is prestigious. Many illustrious brands assign their advertising campaigns to him to international acclaim, for his talent and the freshness of his easily identifiable compositions. Very invested in his work, Graham Tooby is constantly on the lookout for new styles and original techniques. He leaves his comfort zone to achieve the best results for his art. Beyond commercial shoots, the London artist dedicates time to personal projects for which he has just one motto: to have fun.  ... See more See less
