Olive Santaoloria grew up in the southwest of France. At 18, he got his first Reflex, the ideal tool for transcribing the emotions he felt. Self-taught, the artist expressed himself with his shutter and rapidly developed his own techniques. Today based in Paris, Olive sets himself apart with his pictorial approach. Through long poses, marked contrasts, and a blurry rendering, the artist is able to impose a photographic style which is truly his own, on the borderline between photography and graphic design. Focused on Man, the artist offers to viewers an intimate moment of introspection at the heart of a unique aesthetic. Since 2013, the artist shows his works regularly in France and abroad and is the subject of numerous publications in artistic and design magazines all over the world.
