Manhattan's famous Chinatown is a lively neighborhood where restaurants are found and where good value food shopping may be done. Also for sale are cheap knockoffs of designer labels made in China, and all sorts of trinkets and toys. Over several decades, Chinatown’s population has soared and the limits of this district have been pushed back considerably. It now encompasses most of 'Little Italy' and a large portion of the Lower East Side, north of Canal Street and on the north side of the Manhattan Bridge overpass. The population has also diversified, and accommodates an increasing number of citizens from Southeast Asia, with a growing presence of immigrants from Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc…

Cédric Mainguy

Cédric Mainguy was born in Aix en Provence on June 2nd, 1975. Cédric was introduced to travelling around the world at a very young age. His journey finally brought him to New York where he lived for 7 years. Whilst working as an investment banker, Cedric continued working on his true passion, photography. Exploring new techniques, Cedric developed a unique way of capturing the spirit of New York.
