About the artwork

Franco-Hungarian artist, Pol Kurucz created the non-conformist artistic collective Kolors in Budapest before exporting it to Sao Paulo, Brazil where he currently resides. Through an aesthetic very influenced by pop culture, his photos are always anchored in reality and in particular feminism or the defense of minorities. “The saturated colors and the provocation of my photos are for me a tool to alert and challenge the societal norms in force in terms of race, gender or aesthetics” he explains.
