Roxane Mo
Roxane Mo describes herself as “a photographer of the people who are changing the world.” Before turning to photography, she spent nearly ten years in communications: first at an agency working on sustainable transition issues, then in the nonprofit sector as communications director for Solidarité Sida and its Solidays festival, and later for the organization Les Canaux, where she documented through photos and video the role of the social and solidarity economy in organizing the Paris 2024 Games. This background now informs a style of photography that she herself describes as lively, joyful, colorful, and deeply human. She works with cultural organizations, festivals, artists, and collectives, as well as nonprofit organizations and entrepreneurs committed to social and environmental causes. Beyond commissioned work, she is pursuing a personal project centered on collective joy and the power of culture in civic engagement. Storytelling, she says, remains her specialty.
