An expert violinist, Sébastien Grébille approached photography through music. After studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, he joined the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra in 2001. His talent is not limited to classical music, since he has been passionate about images for over ten years. It was on a tour to the United States that he became interested in performance reporting in black and white. Since then, the artist regularly passes from his instrument to his camera in order to retranscribe the intensity of the emotions and technical rigour that animate conductors. He also enjoys photographing nature and becomes, in turn, the contemplative spectator who observes the beauty of the world from behind his lens. About to turn forty, he has exhibited in French, Belgian, and Luxembourgian festivals and was a finalist in a number of contests including PX3 in 2011.
