Ukrainian photographer Petro Pohodin was born in 1969. After studying photography, he practised the professions of cameraman and chief editor. The nature photography he creates has always been a soothing influence and allows him to document his escapades. He roams Ukrainian botanical gardens from one season to the next, capturing the beauty of the landscapes found there, using long exposure times and multiple exposures. This ode to nature, which seems almost pictorial, is brought to life under Pietro Pohodin's lens and is reminiscent of the talent of photographers Ansel Adams and Gerhard Richter, or the unique canvases of Dutch master Vincent Van Gogh. His latest project is to visit the American national parks and his images have been published in the specialised magazine PhotoKlassik International .
