As a photographer, my objective is to witness the moment and record the human stories. I believe photography can capture powerful story telling images and inspire us to make a positive change in our world. Zay Yar Lin

About the artwork

The Irrawady is the main river of Myanmar, crossing the country from north to south, around which much of the population lives and where most of the country’s economic activity takes place. In the dry season and at low tide, it is possible to cross the river by foot. Myanmarese photographer Zay Yar Lin plays here with the motifs created by the water and the sandbanks in the evening light.
