Wolfgang Weinhardt is a German photographer. His taste for Indian culture has led him to travel widely in Asia and Oceania: through his photographs, Wolfgang wishes to share and revive the rich diversity of Asian culture. About the artwork

The Meenakshi Amman Temple is a Dravidian-style Hindu temple situated in Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the masterpieces of Dravidian architecture and one of the most important active temples in India. It is dedicated to Meenakshi, an avatar of the Hindu goddess Pârvatî, the wife of Shiva1. As well as to Shiva in his Sundareswarar form: the handsome lord. It contains two sanctuaries, one for each of the two gods. It is one of the most highly frequented holy sites in India and attracts pilgrims who come to get married there or to purify themselves.
