Lunch at the edge of blue

Patricia Geagea is an artist, artistic director, and designer based in Canada. As the founder of Entre Deux—a space for visual research into generated imagery where shifting forms and fantastical worlds explore the ambiguity between photography and illustration—she creates images that seem to document the moment while gradually revealing their imaginary nature. Photography plays an essential role in her work: it guides the way she composes space, directs the viewer’s gaze, and constructs an image that appears spontaneous.
Drawing inspiration from Mediterranean landscapes, modernist painting, and fashion photography, her work transforms color, light, and composition into a true emotional and aesthetic language. She seeks to evoke a universal imagination—memories, places, and suspended moments that we can no longer pinpoint—by offering a respite from reality where the viewer can slow down and imagine the story that inhabits the image.
