Eleonora Laufer was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A self-taught photographer, she developed an early and intimate relationship with the image, guided by a sustained attention to quiet landscapes, subtle traces of human presence, and the fragile balance between movement and stillness. Her work is grounded in a pared-down visual language, where light and color become primary carriers of emotion. Before fully dedicating herself to photography, she spent over fifteen years working in dance, a practice that deeply informs her artistic vision. This embodied experience has shaped her sensitivity to rhythm, space, and the invisible tensions that structure both gesture and environment.
