BLUE ANGEL
olivier lavielle
"It is a Swiss plane restored as it was originally by passionate people as you can only find in Switzerland or in the USA. It is a DC3 "Dakota", an extraordinarily solid and reliable machine. It is an aircraft that I love. It has, unarmed, liberated Europe from Nazi tyranny, avoided the Berlin blockade, and truly launched the history of civil aviation. A small plane full of courage, it is a pleasure to see it still flying in our skies with such elegance and delicacy. When it is on the ground, its tail wheel gives it the air of having always the head in the clouds. It is a dreamy plane."
