Graduating in the fine arts, Katsuhiro Ohkuchi specialised in photography. He initially worked at a photography studio for several years before embarking on a solo career in art photography. The artist now has only one desire: to immortalise the imaginary world of his childhood. He explains: “I was trying to find impressive landscapes that no one has ever seen before and I remembered the imaginary world of my childhood. I realised that the landscapes I was looking for already existed… at my feet.” Katsuhiro Ohkuchi studied the method and immortalises the world through the eyes of a tiny creature. Imagination, excitement, and adventure are thus combined in each of his works. The result is unique and colourful, allowing viewers to discover a whole new world. His message? Remember the imaginary world of your childhood that adults have forgotten.
