Stian Klo grew up in Harstad, in the north of Norway. The region, rich in extraordinary landscapes, constitutes an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artist. From a very young age, Klo’s creativity was boundless. At the age of 30, when he had just left the music world, he sought to assuage his creative appetite and started using a professional camera for the first time. From then on, he devoured specialised books and online courses. He practised over and over, in all kinds of genres, until the day he was contacted by Apple. The Californian company wanted to use a photo by the artist to illustrate its next advertising campaign. Suddenly things fell into place for the artist, sparking his progressive ascension. Today, Stian Klo has returned to Harstad. He has won numerous awards, specialising in landscape photography. He takes advantage of the mountain ranges, lush vegetation, and the incomparable Arctic light of his surroundings. Published in prestigious publications (National Geographic, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Landscape Photography Magazine, N-Photo), he is also a regular contributor to the Lonely Planet guide.
