BIOGRAPHY

Considered one of the foremost photographers of the British landscape, Adam Burton has travelled across the globe to capture natural environments on a large scale. A self-taught photographer, he started learning the relevant techniques in 2001, mainly by reading specialist magazines and practising in situ, in the New Forest or along the coast of Dorset. This informal training enabled him to develop an instantly recognisable and unique style and signature that is now well known. Since 2004, his photographs have been published in newspapers and have graced the covers of more than 200 magazines. He has practised photography full time since 2008, publishing a number of books on his work, that in recent years have focused on the southwest of England, his native country.
