A professional artist, By Flavie trained in several artistic mediums from a young age, such as painting, drawing and photography. A former student of the Louvre School, she was able to complete her practical artistic knowledge with theoretical studies. The artist nonetheless draws her sources of inspiration from the world around her, finding all kinds of material to explore through travel, the natural world and all of its visual phenomena. Her compositions in abstract and organic forms represent an imaginary and sensitive world, with multiple interpretations. Various techniques are associated in her works, from oil painting, to gouache or Indian ink, all of which are eventually photographed to give the work as flat and smooth a surface as possible, as well as improved graphic rendering.
