AZIZ NASUTI
Aziz Nasuti was born in 1981 in Kurdistan before emigrating to Norway. In Trondheim, he studied geophysics and obtained his doctorate. He then started to work for the Norwegian Institute of Geology. For his work, he travelled frequently to the most beautiful parts of his country and, every time, immortalised the fabulous landscapes with his camera. But as much as nature, Aziz Nasuti loves cities, and particularly his own – Trondheim – which he is very attached to. He endlessly explores and photographs its colourful buildings, numerous bridges, or its surrounding areas. He takes particular care over the composition and lighting: “I am particularly attentive to the harmony between colours, plays of light and shade,” he explains. “If I chose photography, it’s because my passion is seeing life through light.”
