Matt Crump is a former award-winning art director and the creator of the pop-art movement known as candy-colored minimalism, which gained him a social-media following of over 100,000. Crump attributes his success to his distinctive use of candy-colored negative space, surreal compositions, offbeat and Americana subjects, and an endless-summer vibe. He open-sourced hisbrand of photography with the hashtag #candyminimal, inspiring his international audience to create and tag 50,000 of their own candy-colored photos.Crump has been commissioned by brands like Target, TOMS, Whole Foods, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Stonyfield Farm, Qatar Airways, George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila, and Disaronno.
