The artist

Matthieu Casimiri is a young photographer, an engineer by profession. During long business trips to Asia, he took his first series called ' Asian Urban Depression ' which was exhibited at the Lucernaire Gallery in June / July 2008. His photographicapproach is based on man and in particular, on his interaction with his surroundings, whether urban, industrial or everyday life.
