Alessandro Zanoni is a multi-talented Italian artist. A graduate of the prestigious European Design Institute in Milan in 1992, he launched his professional career as an artistic director in advertising. First exclusively devoted to print, he progressively observed the digital transformation of his profession. Gradually, digital photography became his clear preference as a new means of expressing his creativity. In 2014, his professional photography career was launched and he rapidly garnered international awards in droves – International Photography Awards (2014, 2015, 2016, 2018), Sony World Photography Awards (2016, 2019), Lens Culture Travel Photography Awards (2018), and Lens Culture Street Photography Awards (2019). Since then, Alessandro Zanoni has been published in numerous prestigious magazines including Life, Vice, Style Magazine and has shown his work in all of the big cities worldwide (including New York, Milan, Naples, Paris, Hong Kong, London). Through his lens, the Italian artist showcases deserted urban landscapes. He highlights the paradox between the geometric lines of the cityscapes and the void and immobility of its deserted areas. Through his creations, he opens a window onto a dreamlike parallel world that is almost post-apocalyptic.
