ANDREW PEACOCKBased between Australia and the United States, Dr. Andrew Peacock began exploring the world through his camera on voluntary medical assignments in India and Nepal. Starting in the era of transparency film his photography practice grew alongside his pursuit of outdoor adventure through rock climbing and mountaineering and by entering the digital space. Inspired by photographers like Galen Rowell, Corey Rich and Greg Epperson he developed his own artistic approach rooted in a passion for showcasing the mountain and polar landscapes of the world. His images have received numerous awards after initially winning a Travel Photographer of the Year award for his portfolio ‘Call of the Wild’ in 2008.
