What started as a hobby soon became a passion. With his high-school diploma in his pocket, Romain Laffue had no doubts: he enrolled in a school of photography. For several years, he learned the theory and refined his practice. After graduating, he moved to Paris and pushed the doors of the big Parisian studios, including the famous Le Petit Oiseau Va Sortir. He learned a great deal, until the day he embarked on the challenge of associating his two passions: photography and surfing. He became a freelancer, opening up a new chapter in his career as a photographer. This adventure would first take him to Bordeaux, then to the four corners of the Earth, before returning to his beloved native region and hometown, Biarritz.
