PAUL CLIFTON
Before becoming a photographer, Paul Clifton was a graphic designer. But being in an office behind a computer wasn’t enough for him. In 2010, he chose to lay down his pencils and pick up his camera again. He created his own studio in Surrey in the south of England. With his easy-going demeanour, he specialised in portraits and regularly creates photographs of employees and bosses in companies. He also does news reporting and artistic projects. His passion for antique motorcycles drove him to create the project Classic Bikes. “It’s a purely personal project that gave me the opportunity to speak with other people who share the same passion”, he explained. “For me, the goal was to showcase the beauty of these pre-1950 motorcycles in a simple, straightforward way that focused on their pure beauty.” In 2018, he was a finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition.
