Roberto Nova
Roberto Nova was born in Monza, Italy, in 1982. He discovered photography when he was still a child and, ever since, he has always had a camera near to hand every time he travels. After studying design at the Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), he became an artistic director. An experience that helped him work on the composition of his photos, which is crucial for him: “I always try to associate singularity with the best possible composition,” he says. His photos are often minimalist and always contain a poetic element. Among his inspirations, it is no surprise to find Italian photographer Luigi Ghirri and American photographer Vivian Maier: “I love their way of representing everyday life with a unique element each time that makes them timeless.”
