Xavier Martin was born, lives, and works in Paris. When he was twelve, his father gavehim his first camera. It was then that he took his first pictures, photographing every-thing around him. Impassioned and determined to become a photographer, he beganhis trade with the Angeli agency at the end of the 70s, as a reporter and, in particular,as a photographer of celebrities as Serge Gainsbourg and continued in this line of work at Sipa Press.Engaged by France Soir, Journal du Dimanche, and the Figaro, he is a photojour-nalist of current events, and also collaborates with l'Agence Jet Set, agency of stars.He has also worked in publicity photography for divers agencies.
