L'artista

Born in southwest France, Oliver Lavielle is a photographer in love with the period from the 1940s to 1970s. His world is tinged with jazz, swing, blues, rock’n ‘roll and a pinch of disco. “My joy as a photographer is showcasing the heroism of aviation. Remembering that humanity is an explorative force! The sea and the air, challenging oneself, adventure... in a word, humanity.”

Olivier Lavielle, who admits that our contemporary age holds no aesthetic interest for him, gives us a slightly nostalgic, 1950s view that would best be accompanied by a classic piece of jazz performed by, say, The Golden Gate Quartet.
