Why photography ?
Photography is a means that allows me to express my inner self, making my world visible. My natural inclination towards minimalism leads me to search for the hidden order of things in the apparent chaos. I am looking for still unexplored possibilities, the improbable in the ordinary
Your inspiration ?
The photographers I have as a reference and who have influenced my personal vision are Franco Fontana for the essentiality of his landscapes, Mario Giacomelli for the strong contrasts in black and white, Andreas Gursky for his works characterized by an almost hypnotic geometry.
What is unique in your photographs ?
What every photographer creates is the projection of his interiority, it is the result of his experiences, his personality, his cultural formation. In my photographs is unique what I can express through the mix of all my past.
The context of creation of your new series
The Alps and the Apennines after a heavy snowfall.
The picture you would have loved to shoot ?
I wasn't born yet, but I would have liked to have taken the picture of Einstein sticking his tongue out.
The latest prizes / awards / prides you got ?
Winner of several international awards and prizes, I have been elected:
Landscape Photographer of the Year 2021 at 3rd MINIMALIST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
Aerial Photographer of the Year 2019 at 1st MINIMALIST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
Discovery of the Year 2016 at the ND Awards.
Photographer of the Year 2015 at the 4th Zebra Awards
An article about me and a portfolio of my photos have been published in the photography journal in Hungary, the Digitális Fotó Magazin, in the September-October 2021 issue.
Your next projects ?
For now I want to continue to investigate the shapes of the landscape, in particular to carry on the Signs and Snow Shape series, a project in constant evolution. In the future, I wouldn't mind shifting my focus to the urban landscape.
Your motto ?
Fortune favors the bold. (Virgilio)
