L'artista

At the outset of this story, there was a shared love of travel. A call to adventure for one, an escape for the other. After growing up on the Mongolian steppes, Tuul moved to Paris in 2000 to start her cultural studies. She thus discovered photography and decided to make it her career. Her nomadic origins led her to choose reporting. As for Bruno Morandi, he was destined for a more peaceful life. The son of a Norman mother and a Tuscan father, he spent every summer of his childhood in Italy. After making a brilliant start to his architectural studies, he left for Nepal for two months at the age of 18 and became a guide for Nouvelles Frontières. A professional photographer from 1990 onwards, he works with international press (National Geographic US, Figaro Magazine, French and German Géo, Grands Reportages). His images were selected by the HSBC and BNP Paribas banks for their advertising campaigns and have also been the subject of dozens of books, including Nepal: Colour and Light (2001), Eternal Tuscany (2002) and Impressions of Rajasthan (2003). Ever since, the two photographers have been crisscrossing the global with their precision and passion, seeking out fleeting moment to capture all the grace of simple gestures.  ... TUUL ET BRUNO MORANDI

Sull'opera

Tuul and Bruno Morandi share both their daily life and a career: photography. Travel fanatics, they have roamed the world together in search of poetry. In Rajasthan (India), they capture the beauty of the architecture overlooking a watering hole. Near Jaipur, this sophisticated structure invites women, dressed in their traditional clothes, to partake in a choreographed and colourful dance.
