Photo WORM MOON - ANDREW MCCARTHY
Astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy proves that you don’t need a ton of fancy equipment to capture breathtaking images of our solar system. You just need ingenuity and meticulous attention to detail. One of his recent pieces highlights the crisp glowing features of the moon. Although presented as a single image, there was more to making this piece than meets the eye.  His motivation: passion. Damien Dufresne has worked in Paris, Seoul, Milan, New York and Tokyo. He currently lives in Shanghai. Photo Bigoudi Party #2 - Nicolas Bets
Nicolas Bets arrives in Paris from his native Belgium at 17, to become, like his mother, a photographer. He graduated after only one year in photography school. During seven years, he attends to great names in the profession, such as Claus Wichrath and Jean-Daniel Lorieux. On its best playing field, combining delusion and rigor, the aesthetics and sense of detail are pushed to the extreme. Between the harmony of colors, the sets, and the expressive power of the characters (sometimes numerous) he puts on stage, Nicolas Bets signs a recognizable and unique brand of his kind.

Photo Wonder Wheel By Night Coney Island NY - Franck Bohbot
Franck Bohbot is a french photographer and visual artist best know for his use of color photography. He focuses his artistic research on public spaces, urban landscapes and environmental portraits. Rooted in his fascination with cinematographic iconography, his thematics study the relationship between the individual and architecture. He has drawn artistic inspiration from figures as diverse as Luigi Ghirri, Walker Evans, Edward Hopper, or William Eggleston. While manipulating color with great precision, he highlights the soft subtleties of this relationship by playing with both fluorescent and melancholic light and chromatics. Each one of Bohbot’s works features these photographic intentions — through their enigmatic atmosphere, documentary-style approach, and timeless feel, we are transported to a dreamy, velvety, and nearly infinite visual paradise. His unique style enabled him to work with prestigious magazines, institutions and designers such as the New York Times, The New York Magazine, National Geographic, The Louvre Museum, Sotheby’s, Paul Smith and Christian Dior. He works and lives in New York City.

Photo IN THE LOCKER ROOM - HARDI BUDI
Hardibudi (the artist’s pseudonym) is an Indonesian artist born in 1968 who lives in the vibrant city of Jakarta. From a young age he developed a keen interest in the arts, experimenting with various disciplines before focusing on painting and photography. He took his first photographs in 2003 with a camera belonging to his family. Through the dehumanised representation of motionless figures posing without expression, his works satirise today’s modern world. His use of photo editing software allows him to fully control this precise aesthetic. In order to intensify the emotional reach of his works, Hardibudi eliminates all superfluous elements. In the same way, the deliberate choice of a palette of primary colours avoids any potential distraction. The composition of his images makes use of pure lines that merge into the subject, thus erasing any notion of hierarchy between the various elements present within the image.
