L'artista

Italian artist Cristina Coral no longer needs an introduction. Her work has illustrated the most prestigious international magazines, such as Vogue, Lens Culture, Huffington Post and Wall Street Journal to name just a few. In addition to her exhibitions in Italy and England, the photographer has also won numerous awards since 2014, notably at the Prix de la Photographie (Px3) in Paris, the International Photography Awards (IPA) in Los Angeles, and at the Sony World Photography Awards in London. Well known for her dreamlike portraits captured in spaces and landscapes full of silence, intimacy, and memories, her approach to photography has been self-taught. Growing up in an artistic milieu, Cristina Coral was soothed at a tender age by the music played by her father, Giampaolo Coral, an eminent composer of chamber and contemporary classical music. He was the first to encourage his daughter to develop her talent as a photographer, which enabled her to express her deepest feelings in a poetic way.  ... Vedi di più Vedere di meno

Sull'opera

"Over the rainbow" was taken in 2014 in Italy, after a rainy day, as a rainbow stood out in the background, through the clouds. The female model, in a bathing suit, is making the most of summer to charge her batteries by a swimming pool dating from the 1930s. The natural lighting gives crucial intensity to Cristina Coral's compositions, who captures dream like moments outside of time. She thus opens up the doors of a mysterious world to us, on the borders of her imagination.

LDKPHOTO

This 40 year old photographer is an architect by profession. There are signs of this in his work as it is first of all a reflection on contemporary cities and more specifically about the proliferation of modern urban space. Laurent Dequick's purpose is to accurately convey an imp...

THIBAUD POIRIER

Born to expatriate parents, Thibaud Poirier spent his childhood in many cities around the globe, but out of Houston, Montreal, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo, it was the latter that has influenced him the most: “I discovered architecture there, in particular by Tadao Ando, and it became...

LUDWIG FAVRE

Born in Senlis in 1976, Ludwig Favre now lives and works in Paris. Art history, multimedia and audiovisual studies, but also the transmission of a passion between a father and his son were the means that trained the photographer’s eye, sensitive to the reproduction of picturesque...
