Africa and the Middle East are full of wonders. These huge territories attract photographers for many reasons: impressive landscapes, unique animals, but also portraits of individuals representative of deep-rooted cultures. In these remote regions of the world, rites and traditions remain present. They vary from one place to another, sometimes even within short distances, enabling photographers attracted by a documentary approach to encounter a thousand and one faces and create extraordinary portraits. Embarking on a discovery of Africa and the Middle East with YellowKorner’s photographers means discovering fabulous landscapes and unique flora and fauna. Between the savannah, desert lands, or other unusual locations, Africa and the Middle East are full of incredible sights. For Laurent Baheux , for example, it is the ideal terrain for wildlife photography . He presents images of black and white. The animals look amazing, as though leaping out of the frame, ready to let us pet them. Spectators cannot fail to be enthralled in the face of such power. He presents images full of movement, helping us to imagine the elephant’s progress across the savannah, dislodging clumps of earth and stirring up dust as it goes. Pedro Jarque Krebs ’s savannah is very different. He actually takes the fauna out of its natural habitat to bring it into the limelight against a dark backdrop. The colours of the fur ‘pop’ all the more, dazzling our eyes. You can also explore animal photographs taken in the natural habitats of African and Middle Eastern territories. Sublimate your interior and fly away to Africa and its landscapes with this wildlife photography. Among YellowKorner’s photographs in numbered limited edition, you can also discover the I’m not a Trophy collection devised by artist Arno Elias in partnership with the wonderful Cara Delevingne. These images of wild animals coloured with patches of paint are emblematic. They aim to promote the protection of animals of the savannah and endangered species.
