The Artist
Bert Stern

Bert Stern was born in New York in 1929. Called up for service, Bert Stern made films in Japan and his photography career took off during the Korean War. On return to New York, he worked for an advertising agency then worked with renowned fashion magazines including Vogue. His last production was the famous ‘The Last Sitting’ series assembling 2,500 shots of Marilyn Monroe taken six weeks before her death.
