Jean-François Hagenmuller was born in 1958 in Alsace. He has been a high-mountain guide and professor at the École Nationale de Ski et d’Alpinisme de Chamonix since 1985. Fascinated by the beauty of Mont-Blanc, he launched himself into his second passion with gusto, becoming a professional photographer in 1995. He has since regularly contributed to many specialised magazines and published books including Lumières d’Altitudes, published by Éditions Glénat in 2004, for which he obtained the Prix Mondial du Livre d’Images de Montagne. ...
