Jean-François Hagenmuller was born in 1958 in Alsace. He has been a high-mountain guide and professor at the École Nationale de Ski et d’Alpinisme de Chamonix since 1985. Fascinated by the beauty of Mont-Blanc, he launched himself into his second passion with gusto, becoming a professional photographer in 1995.
