Old photos are often damaged. As a result, part of the image seems to escape us. A certain distance sets in due to the absence of color, because we live in a colored world. With colorization, we could have direct access to fragments of the past. The best images are the ones you look at and forget they are colorized. On the other hand, if the image is distinguished simply by its colorization, then the objective is not achieved in my opinion. It's all about history, not image processing.
