With this selection, YellowKorner showcases its favourites from among all of its collections. Photographs, like any art object, convey a message, speaking to a subconscious and a personality. So they are not addressed to all spectators in the same way. While this collection specifically attracted the attention of YellowKorner’s selection committee, this detracts nothing from the quality of all of the other photographs and artists. As ever, in numbered limited edition, these images are especially memorable owing to their aesthetic qualities, but also for the stories they tend to tell. Each of these artworks illustrates the artistic project of our emblematic photographers such as Laurent Baheux , Franck Bohbot , Ludwig Favre , or Formento + Formento . These artists do not simply capture a short and ephemeral moment from our world, but seek continuity in their approach. Damien Dufresne also received the jury’s recommendation for all of his production, which is atypical and aesthetically pleasing, presenting both dark and colourful portraits. It is the remarkable talent of this artist and the originality of his approach that we seek to acknowledge, above all.
